| The original version of JustSo Picture Window has now been downloaded from the DW Exchange more than 52,000 times! This new version, long promised, much delayed, is the culmination of a steep learning curve. Many designers have been clamoring for this upgrade, which adds the popup image-in-a-window ~ resized according to the user's monitor resolution ~ to your dynamic webpages. As demonstrated below in a Repeat Region, each image's name is obtained from your database and displayed in a JustSo Picture Window (which is then simply clicked to close.) There is considerable flexibility built in to the SSB to give you great control over just which fields are supplied by database columns. | For example: item Name and Description database-columns may be used to supply the Window Title and Alt Text; the image directory path may be hard-coded or obtained from the database; or, for even more flexibility, you may use multiple database tables. For example the Alt Text for all images could in a separate recordset that supplies date-sensitive text like "Great Father's Day Gift" or "Our Impressionists Show opens July 4th!" It is a certainty that imaginative designers will find uses which this feeble mind has not even considered. I do hope you find this extension useful.
